Our Ongoing Research Journey

At the Mindfulness Training Centre, we dedicate ourselves to exploring the potential of mindfulness. Our involvement in advanced research aims to deepen understanding and improve mindfulness interventions, ultimately improving mental health and well-being in diverse populations.

Expertise and ethical standards

Our team of experienced mindfulness teachers combine extensive research experience with professional certifications. Furthermore, they are experienced in ethical considerations and carefully go through the strict approval processes required for research projects. Finally, we ensure that all interventions include comprehensive orientation sessions, prioritizing participant safety and providing ongoing support throughout the study.

Collaborative development and evaluation of interventions

We develop customized mindfulness-based and mindfulness-integrated interventions in collaboration with leading universities, particularly in Hong Kong. We design these programs to suit specific populations and conditions, delivering them either face-to-face or digitally in English, Chinese, and Cantonese. Therefore, our approach emphasizes cultural relevance and accessibility to maximize impact.

Publications and clinical trials

Our team has published our research findings in peer-reviewed journals, showing our commitment to scientific rigor. We also also register and conduct both ongoing and completed clinical trials, contributing valuable data to the global mindfulness research community.

Materials and support resources

To facilitate effective intervention delivery, we create diverse materials including audio tracks, videos, worksheets, journals, and meditation trackers. As a result, these resources support participants and research teams, ensuring consistency and ease of use across different settings.

Training and participant support

We train research team members—such as Research Assistants and students—to assist in delivering interventions safely and effectively. Additionally, our certified mindfulness teachers can deliver the intervention and serve as the first line of support for participants, guiding them through their mindfulness practices with professionalism and care.

At the Mindfulness Training Centre, we have developed various mindfulness-based interventions customized to our participants’ needs. Therefore, we aim to gently support individuals in incorporating mindfulness into daily life, improving physical, mental, and social well-being. Also, each program is designed to create a supportive space where participants can explore and experience the benefits at their own pace.

You can find examples of our programs below, developed in different languages through collaboration with schools, universities and NGOs in Hong Kong and Macau, showing our commitment to research and customized digital interventions.
